“… and as the night began, magic was once again in the air”.

Our annual concert came and went and it was a huge success! The night was packed with so many good performances, fun, and families who came to watch. It was definitely the highlight of the year for us!

The theme of the concert this year was ‘When the Night Comes Alive!’, featuring both classical and Broadway numbers. The night began with a simple classical piece called Ode to Joy and Lullaby. Eileen Kim and Wong Jian Shen did an amazing job with the performance as they truly helped set the mood and tone for the rest of the night.

We also had a huge violin ensemble which played the pieces Spring and Winter.  After endless hours of practice and rehearsal, the group pulled of a flawless performance. We are extremely proud of their effort, dedication, and perfect showmanship! Indeed, it has been so fulfilling for us to watch our students grow so much as performers!

The night ended with a very fun number called La Bamba. As the performers came out in all sorts of colours, dance and amazing vocals, it was the perfect closing to an already perfect night. We are extremely grateful to all our students, their families, and our instructors for putting the night together. It was a feat pulled off only because there was so much love and dedication that went into the event. For that we would like to extend our utmost thank you and appreciation to all who were a part of the night! We look forward to bigger things in the coming year and we wish you all a very happy 2014!
