“Celebrating Seasons and Each Other”
On the 10th December 2017, Notes Studio held its annual concert at Stage on Second at the school’s premises. And… what a concert it was! With the place packed to the brim with students and families, our talented students put on a show to remember!
Each year, our annual concert serves to highlight and celebrate the progress of each student. We love seeing how far they have come every year and celebrating each person. In 2017’s annual concert, we had a wide range of musical talents as well, with students showcasing their skills on the piano, violin, guitar, keyboard, ukulele, cello, saxophone, drums, and vocals!
It was a merry time of ringing in the festivities and celebrating musical milestones together! At the beginning of the session, the night started with a saxophone solo on the classic “Amazing Grace”. A lively Christmas medley was followed by a piano duet. Next up was a guitar ensemble and together, the group performed a piece titled, ‘The First Noel’. So much teamwork and coordination went into the performance and the group’s hard work paid off with their successful performance!
We have a trio performing the popular ‘Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas’ with an instructor accompanying them on the piano. Needless to say, this crowd favorite added to the festive mood! No Christmas season is complete with the Nutcracker and the performance did not disappoint. We had many performances that took place on that evening and every performer able to present their best to the crowd the audience was impressed with their dedication and efforts. The session of the evening closed with a lovely violin ensemble performing ‘White Christmas’. What a mighty ensemble to end the first session!
All in all, it was a stunning way to celebrate the end of 2017. Our annual concerts have always been one of the highlights of our year and 2017 was no different. It always gives us such great pleasure and joy to see our students taking to the stage to showcase their progress and share their musical journey with friends and family.
