“Ending the year on a high”
13th December 2015 was a grand affair for Notes Studio as her annual concert was held on that day. Every year, we end the year with our biggest celebration, where friends and family gather together for amazing performances by the students. This year was no different except that it is such a joy to see the Notes Studio family growing bigger as each year passes!
The evening was a huge milestone for many of our students. For some, it was their first time performing, while for others, it was a chance for them to push further their boundaries and abilities when it comes to sharing their music with others.
This year’s concert included Christmas songs, violin ensembles as well as vocal performances. The performances were held in 2 sets that evening.
The second set of our concert was no less exciting with students ranging from all ages and experience as well as multiple group ensembles. In Notes Studio, we love ensembles as they encourage and teach our students a great deal of teamwork. It is always fun making new friends while learning music together!
During our concert this year, we were very proud to see the growth in our students. We have seen many of them grow in becoming confident performers and we look forward to seeing so much more from them in the future. While we place much emphasis on theory, practical skills, and examinations, we also want our students to find joy in performance.
Throughout the years, our efforts have increased in providing different platforms and opportunities for our students to perform and test the waters in front of an audience. We have desired to see them grow in their confidence and abilities in publicly performing as we do believe that the music we make is meant to be shared. So, this year, it has been our great joy, pleasure, and pride to watch our students take bolder steps as they begin to find their own feet out there on the stage in front of others.
We truly look forward to so much more as we step into 2016. It has been an amazing year for Notes Studio as we have journeyed along with our families. We say that there can only be better things to come as we continue to strive forward and grow together. We wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
“Onward and upwards!”
